Terms of Use

This English translation is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of Point Line Plane (포인트라인플레인, "the Company") and its users when they use the product sales, rental quote requests and related services ("the Services") offered on the website www.plpsolution.com ("the Site"), operated by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "User" means anyone who visits the Site and uses the Services provided by the Company under these Terms.
  • "Purchase" means a transaction in which a User selects a product on the Site, pays for it and acquires ownership.
  • "Rental" means a transaction in which a User borrows the Company's products for a set period, such as an event, and returns them. A rental is contracted separately after the User submits a rental quote request on the Site and receives a consultation and quote from the Company.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

  • The Company displays its business name, representative, address, phone number, email, business registration number, mail-order business registration number and privacy officer at the bottom of the Site.
  • The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable laws. Amendments are posted on the Site, with the effective date and reason, at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before if the change is unfavorable to Users.
  • Amended Terms apply only to contracts made on or after the effective date. Contracts made before then remain under the previous Terms.

Article 4 (Services)

The Company provides the following services:

  • Sale of display fixtures for exhibitions and events (DP Stands, Counters, Mono Pods, Mini Booths, Stools, etc.)
  • Receiving rental quote requests for fixtures and providing quotes
  • Additional services such as delivery, build and teardown
  • Space planning proposals (Design Your Space) and other services the Company designates

Article 5 (Purchase Requests and Formation of Contract)

  • The User selects products and options on the Site, enters orderer details, and before paying, reviews the product name, quantity, price, shipping fee, VAT and total amount, then pays.
  • A purchase contract is formed when payment is complete and the Company sends an order confirmation.
  • The Company may decline an order if stock is short, order details are incorrect, or fraudulent payment is found. In that case, the Company refunds the payment without delay.

Article 6 (Rental Quote Requests and Formation of Contract)

  • The User requests a quote by entering event dates, products, handover method and other details in the rental quote request on the Site. Amounts shown on the quote request are estimates, not final amounts.
  • The Company checks stock and dates, then sends a quote. A rental contract is formed when the User agrees to the quote and pays the full rental amount.
  • Detailed terms such as rental period, quantity, delivery and build conditions, cancellation fees, and compensation for loss or damage are set in the quote or a separate contract. If they differ from these Terms, the quote or contract prevails.

Article 7 (Payment)

  • Purchases on the Site are paid by credit or debit card, simple payment services, or other payment methods the Company offers. Payments are processed by payment service providers (PortOne, KG Inicis, etc.). Users outside Korea may pay by international bank transfer against an invoice issued by the Company.
  • Rentals are paid in full by bank transfer or a payment link provided by the Company after the User agrees to the quote. Full payment confirms the contract. Tax invoices are issued with payment.
  • For transactions separately agreed with the Company, such as public sector deals, custom builds (DYS) and partner deals, the timing and method of payment follow the contract or quote.
  • Listed prices exclude VAT. The checkout screen shows the final amount including VAT and shipping. VAT may apply differently to purchases exported outside Korea under applicable law.

Article 8 (Delivery)

  • Products purchased for delivery in Korea are ordered after payment is confirmed and shipped within about 2 weeks. If production or stock causes a delay, the Company will notify the User in advance.
  • International delivery uses international carriers (FedEx, etc.). International shipping, duties and customs costs are notified and charged separately at cost after payment.
  • Delivery, build and pickup of rental products follow the method and schedule set in the quote.

Article 9 (Withdrawal of Offer, etc.)

Withdrawal of offer, returns, exchanges and refunds for purchased products, and cancellation of rentals, follow the Exchange, Return and Refund Policy. That policy does not limit consumer rights under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

Article 10 (Use and Return of Rental Products)

  • The User must use rental products with the care of a prudent manager and return them in the agreed condition at the agreed time.
  • Rental products may not be decorated or modified in ways that damage them (strong adhesives, tape that leaves marks, etc.). The Company may charge for restoring them to their original condition.
  • If a rental product is lost, or damaged due to the User's fault, the Company may claim compensation based on repair cost or product value. Details follow the quote or contract.
  • Returns later than the agreed date are charged an extra rental fee for each additional day.

Article 11 (Privacy)

The Company collects only the minimum personal information needed to provide the Services. Details follow the Privacy Policy.

Article 12 (Obligations of the Company)

  • The Company complies with applicable laws and these Terms and strives to provide the Services continuously and reliably.
  • The Company maintains security measures to protect Users' personal information.

Article 13 (Obligations of Users)

Users must not:

  • Enter false information when making a request or order
  • Use another person's payment method or information without permission
  • Alter information posted on the Site without permission or infringe the Company's intellectual property
  • Interfere with the operation of the Site

Article 14 (Copyright)

Copyright in works created by the Company and posted on the Site, including photos, drawings, text and designs, belongs to the Company. Users may not copy, distribute or use them commercially without the Company's prior consent.

Article 15 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not liable when it cannot provide the Services due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, suspension of venue operations or the spread of infectious disease. In such cases, changes to rental dates and handling of payments are agreed with the User.

Article 16 (Dispute Resolution)

  • The Company handles Users' complaints and opinions as a priority. If a matter cannot be handled promptly, the Company informs the User of the reason and the expected schedule.
  • In case of a dispute, the User may apply for mediation to the Korea Fair Trade Commission or a dispute mediation body commissioned by a city or provincial governor.

Article 17 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

Lawsuits between the Company and Users are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court is determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
